Samuel Forsythe is an artist working between the mediums of performance, new-media, and writing. His performance works weave narrative threads into complex patterns while negotiating the physical and cognitive limits of the performer. His video and media works exploit the tropes of modelling and simulation, constructing game-spaces full of traps, voids, and vortices; His writing enmeshes the fictional with the factual in an attempt to unpack the dynamics of conflict, cunning, and reason. Forsythe lives and works in Frankfurt am Main, Germany
