Rory Rowan


Rory Rowan holds a PhD in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London, where his research focused on the spatial thought of Carl Schmitt . His current research looks at the political dimensions of geophilosophy with a focus on geoengineering and extra-planetary geographies. His writings on art, geography, philosophy and politics have appeared in a number of print and online publications, and he is co-author, with Claudio Minca, of the forthcoming book On Schmitt and Space: Geographies of the Political. He blogs at gapingearth.wordpress and geocritique.
